La Piquera
We are the charmest corner of the Great Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba.
We are located in the heart of "La Juderia", very close of the most emblematic places of Cordoba, like the Mosque-Cathedral, the Roman bridge, the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, the Synanogue... surrounded by the atmosphere of the traditional Cordoban patios, with its window bars and balconies.
Our building is an old traditional house, restored to accommodate our guests, preserving the characteristics of the typical Andalusian houses.
We have conserved the patios and the Cordovan essence. There, you can rest after a day of tourism, and enjoy a free tea or coffee during the evening.
Our hostal takes its name from the small window where wine was served to women and children in the Cordovan taverns, around the middle of XX century, because their access to the tavern was not socially accepted.
It was the link between the woman and the tavern.
We want to be the link between the guest and our city, offering a "window" to the most representative monument of Córdoba, the Mosque-Cathedral.

Location
We are, literally, five steps away from the Mosque-Cathedral. We have the best location of the city, so you can go by walk to all the relevant monuments.
Parking zone

On the other side of the river (Miraflores) you can find free parking.

Parking Paseo de la Ribera, 1. It has a cost of 14 euros/ 24 hours.

Parking La Mezquita (5 minutes walk from the hostal) with a cost of 12 euros/ 24 hours.

Parking Centro Histórico or Parking la Victoria (15 minutes walk from the hostal, with the option of reservation in advance. Good prices for long term reserves).
If you come by car, it is important that you give us the plate number before arriving, as the street is restricted to the circulation by car and it is necessary that the CCTV recognises your vehicle as authorized and the bollard will go down. If you have not communicated the plate before your visit, you should press the interphone and say you are coming to the hostal. Wait until the traffic light is orange so you can pass. Once you´ve passed, you should give us your plate number so we can authorize your vehicle.

Our reception desk hours are from 9 am to 9 pm. Outside these hours, if you need anything, we will assist you by phone.
Check in is from 2 pm to 9 pm, or until 10 pm (after notice).
If you arrive before the check in hour, don´t worry, you can leave your luggages with us until your room is available.
Check out is from 9 am to 12 pm.
